Maybe not a direct buff in damage, and penetration buffs wouldn't do anything if the round doesn't 1 shpt chest.but maybe a permanent reduction of thorax hp after each hit? So if you get shot in the chest by m61 and you survive, now your thorax max hp is 5 less than it used to be and you can't heal it up any more than that.this means you could technically 1 shot someone later on, after you hit him once in the chest, even if he healed.īecause right now, if you hit someone in the chest with m61, he can take cover (as bolt actions can't fire as fast as other guns), heal up and then he can take another hit to the chest without dying. I am not one for buffing just the bolt actions while keeping semi auto/full auto guns the same, as that breaks realism and immersion.but i feel like something should be done about this.
